In a massive marketing venture, the revamped logo for KFC, featuring a trimmer-looking Colonel Sanders sporting a funky red apron, was launched in the Nevada desert near top-secret Area 51. The 87,500 square foot Colonel Sanders logo is off Rt. 375, "Extraterrestrial Highway", Rachel, Nevada. The massive logo consists of 54,000 snap lock tiles, in five different colors.Provided by Snap Lock Industries,of Salt Lake.

Folkestone White Horse, Folkestone, England

The folkestone white horse is now finished, following the construction of the trenches last autumn, work was started in May to make final adjustments to the trenches ready for the chalk / limestone slabs. The slabs were installed in June by most of the Folkestone horse team and a large number of Gurkas, stationed in Folkestone. They worked incredibly hard and construction was completed (apart from the eye) in about two weeks.
