Located in Kraków, it was established in 1919. The university was formerly known as the University of Mining and Metallurgy. It has 15 faculties and two schools, that in short future will become another faculties.
Its most notable faculty is the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronics, that is often considered as the best faculty in Poland, especially, when rating graduates` position at work market.
