It is home to Ottawa's International League team, the Ottawa Lynx. It is located in the city's east end near the Queensway and Vanier Parkway interchange. The stadium holds 10,322 and was opened prior to the 1993 season, when Ottawa was granted a franchise. While currently the Lynx has the lowest attendance in the league, the first season in 1993 broke International League records for the highest attendance. The building cost $17,000,000. The first game was played on April 17, 1993.
